Oakland Raiders apply to move to Las Vegas -Nevada official

Jan 19 (Reuters) – The Oakland Raiders of the National Football League have filed paperwork to move to Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, Commission Chair Steve Sisolak said on Twitter on Thursday.

Sisolak’s tweet did not say to which entity the Raiders had submitted their paperwork and a spokesman for the team could not immediately be reached for comment. But NFL Network Insider, a media entity owned by the NFL, said in a report citing an unnamed legal source the team had filed relocation paperwork with the league.
