Intesa Sanpaolo, one of Italy’s leading banks, has announced today its intention to appoint Enrico Cucchiani as their new CEO. Enrico Cucchiani has informed Michael Diekmann about his willingness to accept this offer. Enrico Cucchiani will therefore ask the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE to release him from his contractual obligations as of the end of this year. The personnel committee of Allianz SE Supervisory Board has discussed his wish and will ask the Supervisory Board to accept the resignation during its upcoming regular meeting in December.
