February 10, 2012 – LONDON PACIFIC PARTNERS,INC. (PINK SHEETS: LDPP) (“London Pacific” or “the Company”), the international investment and management advisor, announces the completion of the sale of MD Care, Inc. to Humana Inc. (NYSE:HUM) for which its subsidiary, London Pacific Capital Advisors, LLC served as exclusive financial advisor for MD Care. Terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
In addition, to update the Company’s press release of April 29, 2011, London Pacific announces that it will not pursue the acquisition of health care facilities in Brazil due to the challenging regulatory environment for foreign owner-operators in that country.
London Pacific will re-focus its activities on management and advisory service opportunities in the United States and United Kingdom with special emphasis on the healthcare, hospitality and corporate finance sectors. The Company, however, will continue to pursue additional corporate opportunities worldwide on a case-by-case basis.
