Mosquito Engages Sacré-Davey Engineering for Cumo Project Planning

Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Limited (”Mosquito”) is pleased to announce that is has engaged Sacré-Davey Engineering, a North Vancouver based engineering consulting firm with global project experience to complete an audit of all technical data related to Mosquito’s  flagship Cumo Project, and prepare a detailed plan to advance Cumo through to a Feasibility Study. Cal Mark, P.Geo., will lead the project for Sacré-Davey.

Cal Mark, P.Geo, has over 40 years of mining experience in all phases of mining from greenfields exploration through to production. Mr. Mark has been involved with major open pit and underground mining projects throughout North America including the projected 80,000 tpd Mary River iron ore project in Nunavut and the Storie  Molybdenum project in BC. Mr. Mark also held the position of Chief Geologist at the Campbell Mine in Red Lake, Ontario. Mr. Mark also has Idaho-based experience in permiting, feasibility, production, metallurgical plant design, underground and open pit mine development, mine closure and reclamation, exploration geology and tailings management.  Cal Mark is also a lifetime member of the Sierra Club.

Mosquito President Brian McClay commented: “I’m very pleased to have Cal Mark on-board for the review and planning of the Cumo project. His experience dealing with permitting challenges as well as his geological, mining and environmental expertise will be a great asset to the project.” Mr. McClay goes on to add that “although the company has been through a difficult transition over the past several weeks, we believe we now have the financing, technical and operational expertise to significantly advance the Cumo deposit over the coming months and years. A comprehensive project plan is the first step in the process.”
