AmeriSave Mortgage Corp. in Atlanta has closed on its acquisition of CertusBank’s mortgage business.
The deal was announced in September. The purchase provides AmeriSave with consumer lending operations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Additionally, AmeriSave has also named Gary Seuss, previously head of mortgage banking at the $1.5 billion-asset CertusBank, as executive vice president of sales.
“I am excited to join the AmeriSave team and help lead the diversification of its origination channels,” Seuss said in a press release Monday.
CertusBank is based in Greenville, S.C.
