First Valuation hired Sue Potteiger as its president to leverage the company’s proprietary valuation technology.
In addition to supervising new initiatives launched from the technology department, Potteiger will also oversee operations, finance, marketing, quality control, residential and commercial departments for the Westminster, Colo.-based valuation services provider.
Building on overall growth the company has achieved over the last two years, First Valuation plans on releasing a subsequent platform to its V3 platform during the fourth quarter. This new technology will “revolutionize the way data is captured, reported and tested for quality and accuracy,” First Valuation said in a press statement.
Prior to joining First Valuation, Potteiger was most recently the chief appraiser for MetLife Home Loans. Potteiger also spent 14 years with Washington Mutual Bank serving as its chief appraiser in which she oversaw collateral risk and appraisal policies for one of the nation’s largest lenders. Other firms Potteiger has worked for include Veros and Fannie Mae.
“Sue has successfully developed and expanded several key positions over the course of her career,” said Walt Coats, founder and chairman of First Valuation in a press statement. “She has a solid reputation for identifying and capitalizing on trend shifts in the industry.”
