Guyaux Named Next Chief Executive for PNC Mortgage

PNC Financial Services Group has appointed a new leader for its mortgage division.

Joseph Guyaux will become president and chief executive for PNC Mortgage on Jan. 31. He is succeeding E. Todd Chamberlain, who is resigning due to family considerations.

Guyaux is currently the company’s senior vice chairman and chief risk officer. He is a 42-year veteran of PNC and has held leadership positions in nearly every one of the company’s core business activities.

“Joe Guyaux possesses a wealth of experience that positions him to deliver on our stated strategic priority of building a top-tier national mortgage business,” said William Demchak, chairman, president and chief executive of PNC.

Joseph Rockey, who has led the enterprise risk management and Basel office for the Pittsburgh-based company since 2011, was promoted to chief risk officer. Rockey joined the company 15 years ago as chief financial officer of PNC Secured Finance. He became director of strategic planning in 2001 and was named manager of PNC’s branch distribution three years later.
