Wisconsin Mortgage Banker Picks Nicholas DelTorto as Its New President

Inlanta Mortgage, Brookfield, Wis., this week named Nicholas DelTorto, the founder and former CEO of Amerihome Mortgage, as its new president.

John Knowlton, who had held the title of president and CEO, will remain in the chief executive position only.

DelTorto joined Inlanta when the company he was then president of, American Foundations MortgageBanc, merged with Inlanta in August 2010. American Foundation was the successor organization to Amerihome, which in late 2008 was sold to Generations Bancorp Inc., another Milwaukee area company.

“The mortgage and banking industry has faced tremendous changes and consolidation. This has not necessarily been in the best interest of consumers and many quality mortgage professionals,” DelTorto said in a press statement. “Our focus on serving our customers, real estate agents and our employees has attracted many professionals that have been displaced by big banks and independent mortgage companies with the challenges over the past several years. We believe our platform is one of the best in the business.”

DelTorto is also the president-elect of the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association.
