Cicilline, Gemma face off in final TV debate Thursday


Democratic candidate and incumbent U.S. Rep. David Cicilline will face his challenger for the 1st district seat, businessman Anthony Gemma, in a live WJAR-TV televised debate Thursday at 7:30 p.m. This will be the second and final televised debate of that race.

The debate takes place at Rhode Island College and is open to Rhode Island College students and faculty only. The live debate can be seen on NBC 10 Channel 10 at 7:30 p.m.

The winner of that race will face Republican Brendan Doherty, former head of the state police, in the Nov. 6 general election.

Perennial candidate Christopher Young has also been invited to that debate.
