PAWTUCKET, R.I. —
Rhode Island’s Department of Labor and Training is closing one of its five one-stop unemployment centers.
The Providence Journal reported that the netWORKri center in Pawtucket will close sometime after October.
The center offers career counseling, resume assistance and other unemployment services.
Charles Fogarty, the department’s director, says it plans to maintain a presence in Pawtucket, but not with a full-service center.
