AT&T to add another Windows Phone 8 device to its lineup – the Nokia Lumia 925

ATT will soon add another beautiful Windows Phone 8 device from Nokia to its lineup – the Lumia 925.

The Lumia 925, Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone sculpted from both polycarbonate plastic and aluminum, is coming to ATT’s 4G LTE network on Sept. 13. The phone will cost $99.99 with a standard two-year contract. You can pre-order one starting Aug. 28 on ATT’s website.

“The phone sports many of the same specs that helped earn its sibling, the Lumia 920, Smartphone of the Year honors from Engadget earlier this year,” writes Windows Phone Blog Editor Michael Stroh. “It has a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA touchscreen with curved Gorilla Glass 2, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 16 GB of internal memory, and a beefy 2000 mAh battery.”

Still, the Lumia 925’s best feature may just be the 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization and dual LED flash.

“The camera’s Carl Zeiss lens, for example, is actually a six-layer sandwich—a design that helps take in as much as five times more light. The result: sharp, naturally-colored images and 1080p HD video, even under challenging conditions,” Stroh reports.
